About Quack
This is probably the simplest program I have written in a long time. But that was the point.
Quack was designed to be the simplest alarm clock ever made. The interface contains only the essentials—The current time, and the alarm time. There are no buttons to push, no options, no stopwatch functions. It just works. Even when you are half asleep.
Quack is automatically set for 7:00am when it starts up. (That's when I normally get up, so I usually don't have to worry about setting the time.) To change the alarm time, click anywhere on the alarm window. A box appears at the bottom of the window with the current alarm time. Change the time, and you're done. To stop the alarm, just click anywhere again, or close the program. When you click on the window, the alarm is automatically snoozed for 5 minutes (I have a tendancy to fall asleep after I turn the alarm off). That's it.
The name "Quack" is short for "Quick alarm clock. I thought (for about 2 seconds) about making the alarm sound like a duck quacking, but that would be a little weird.
